    FAQ

    What is Sound Healing?

Sound Healing is an ever-expansive therapy that utilises the organic world of sound and vibration to return the body to homeostasis. A fusion of multi-faceted instruments, meditation and breathwork, Sound Healing commences on a physical/auditory level and settles into the molecular structure of the body, replenishing the emotional, mental and energetic aspects of self.

What instruments are used for Sound Healing?

A wide range of instruments can be used in a group sound healing session. In a Sound of Being™ Journey, the core instruments used are Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls. Additional instruments may include Himalayan Singing Bowls, chimes, medicine drum and more.

What are the benefits of Sound Healing?

There are many benefits to receiving Sound Healing, including, but not limited to:

    • Reduction of stress and anxiety
    • Regulation of the nervous system
    • Increased emotional and mental clarity
    • Promotes stillness and wellbeing.
    What is Sound of Being?™

Sound of Being™ is a modality developed by Sound Healing Australia and is recognised by the International Institute for Complimentary Therapists (IICT). It combines meditation, breathwork and sound therapy to support compassionate, inner contemplation and returning to a state of emotional, physical and energetic balance. It draws upon traditions and teachings from across the world and provides an opportunity to connect with a state of ‘Being’ rather than ‘Doing’.
